Trần Dương Quốc Thái, MSc

Trần Dương Quốc Thái is a medical microbiologist with a background in clinical diagnostics, infectious diseases, and translational biomedical research. Thái earned a Master of Science in Medical Microbiology from Khon Kaen University, Thailand (2021–2023), and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology from Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Vietnam (2015–2019).

Thái is a licensed Medical Laboratory Technologist with two years of work experience at the Military Hospital of Soc Trang Province, Vietnam (2019–2021). His master’s research investigated how cagA-positive Helicobacter pylori modulates human neutrophil function, contributing to a better understanding of persistent liver disease and cholangiocarcinoma following Opisthorchis viverrini infection.

For research experience, Thái worked as a Research Assistant in the Faculty of Medicine at Khon Kaen University, Thailand (2023–2025), and is currently a Research Assistant at the Tropical Medicine Research Center for Talaromycosis, Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine, Vietnam. Thái conducts molecular and microbiological experiments, performs various techniques such as PCR, analyzes data using R, GraphPad Prism, and FlowJo, and contributes to scientific publications.
