Overview
The ultimate goal of this project is to translate a point-of-care test (POCT) as a screening tool for talaromycosis through a multidisciplinary bench-to-bedside-to-policy pipeline.
Over the past 20 years Dr Lê has led a highly-collaborative clinical and translational research program in pursuit of the development of novel diagnostic strategies for talaromycosis.
However, the road to clinical adoption does not stop at diagnosticic development. Integration into diagnosis and treatment guidelines requires engagement with policymakers at the local, national, and international levels.
