On October 10, 2024, TMRC invited Trinh Thi Thanh Huong – Biosafety Manager at the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology to train on “Laboratory Safety Practices”. Free training session for attendees.

In addition to members of the Research Board, the training session attracted the participation of nearly 40 teachers from the university’s faculties/centers such as the Center for Medical Laboratory, the Faculty of Pharmacy, the Faculty of Basic Sciences, and the Pham Ngoc Thach’s Clinic.

Some of the contents were trained such as: concepts; introducing the system of legal documents of Vietnam and international guidance; infections related to PTN; factors to ensure biosecurity in the country; introduction to biological risk assessment; principles of design and layout of PTN, PTN safety equipment;…
