Đào Thị Tuyết Mai, MD, MSc

Dao Thi Tuyet Mai, MD, MSc, is a lecturer in the Department of Basic Medical Sciences at Hanoi Medical University – Thanh Hoa Campus. Her academic and professional work has focused on medical microbiology, laboratory medicine, biosafety, infection prevention and control, and quality management in medical laboratories. She is involved in medical education, practical laboratory training, and biomedical research.

Mai is currently pursuing a PhD in Medical Microbiology within the Biomedical Sciences program at Hanoi Medical University. Her doctoral research focuses on Talaromyces marneffei, particularly the identification of potential T-cell epitopes of Mp1p and their application in detecting specific cellular immune responses. Her broader research interests include fungal infections, host immune responses, antimicrobial resistance, and clinical microbiology.

Through the TMRC project, she hopes to further develop her research in talaromycosis and contribute to a better understanding of host–pathogen interactions and immune responses to this important fungal infection.
